Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (IJSSH) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. Our ethics statements are based on the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure their submitted work is entirely original and completely free from plagiarism.

  • Authors must not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals at the same time.

  • All individuals who made significant contributions to the research must be listed as co-authors.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making objective publication decisions based solely on the intellectual merit of the manuscript.

  • Editors must ensure the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and protect the identities involved in the double-blind review process.

  • Editors must not use unpublished information for their own research without the author's written consent.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must treat all assigned manuscripts as confidential documents.

  • Reviewers must conduct their evaluation objectively, providing clear and constructive feedback for the authors.

  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline the review request if such conflicts exist.
